| | | The content pane is the most important part of any skin. It's position is where the main content is displayed and you need to consider this because when working on a site, by default all new modules will be displayed there when adding to the page, and when working with complex information that utilises dynamic content, it always is placed into the content pane. Badly placed content panes are not user friendly and when logged in to manage the site, if placed in an awkward spot, will result in you having to scroll every single time you add content. So, at DNNSKINS, rather than trying to be so creative and 'reinvent' the wheel, we work with the user in mind and understand that you may have different skins and want to test and try them out, and by keeping the standard naming convention with all our skins, and thinking on how the content should be used, upgrading from one of our quality DNNSKINS to another will result in consistency every time. |

| | The bottom pane on our skins normally is displayed across the full width of the skin and sits just above the footer. We collapse this pane so that it is not visible when not used, giving you a consisent and clean look with even padding and white space between the panes. Since most websites now use the standard 960 pixel width skins, you will find that there isn't as much use for this pane as any text that runs across the site like this can be hard to read. Of course you can add your own images to break it up, but generally we keep the larger images to the top of the page, rather than at the bottom. |
